1. Nature of the Service – General Wellness Only

The VascVita Vascular Fitness Score ("VFS") and related wellness notifications are provided solely for general wellness, informational and educational purposes.

• Non-Diagnostic Use: VascVita is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, including but not limited to hypertension, arteriosclerosis, or cognitive impairment.
• Estimated Measurements: All physiological metrics (including, but not limited to, estimated Pulse Wave Velocity) are estimates only and are not medical-grade nor clinically equivalent to measurements obtained in a healthcare or laboratory setting. These estimates are not intended to replace or substitute for FDA-Authorized or clinically validated medical devices, nor are they intended for use in clinical decision-making.
• No Medical Advice: Any lifestyle-related notifications or recommendations (e.g., activity, sleep, recovery) are educational in nature only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or a treatment plan.

2. Notification Protocol and System Limitations

• Automated Insights: Notifications are generated automatically based on detected physiological and lifestyle trends.
• One-Way Communication: VascVita provides periodic, trend-based wellness insights and does not perform continuous or clinical monitoring, nor does it support medical management or disease tracking. No clinician or medical provider monitors or evaluates your data.
• Healthcare Consultation Notices: Any suggestion to consult a physician or healthcare professional is based solely on general wellness trend interpretation and is intended to encourage user awareness, not to identify abnormal, pathological, or diagnostic conditions, and does not require or prompt specific clinical action.

3. Privacy and Data Handling

VascVita is designed with a privacy-first architecture.

• No Platform-Level PII: The platform does not collect, store, or manage personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or government-issued identifiers.
• Local and De-Identified Processing: Where feasible, data is processed locally on the user's device; limited data transmission may occur solely to support core app functionality and wellness insight generation. Any transmitted data is de-identified and used exclusively to generate wellness insights.
• Regulatory Scope: As a general wellness product and not a service provided by a covered healthcare entity, VascVita is governed by the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule, not HIPAA.

4. User Responsibility and Safety Acknowledgement

• No Treatment Decisions: Users must not modify medications, clinical care, or treatment plans based on information provided by VascVita. Consultation with a licensed healthcare professional is required before making health-related decisions or lifestyle changes.
• Assumption of Risk: By using this service, you acknowledge that all insights and suggestions are general in nature and that you are solely responsible for determining their suitability based on your individual health status and physical condition.
